Brhaviour Change Communication (BCC) Component of SEW Project; KFW Development Bank, Germany (Year 2021 – 2025)

The Self Employment of Women in the private health sector is a 3-year KFW supported project with key concern to empower the qualified unemployed women in the medical profession to enable them of income generation through provision of health services, increasing FP uptake within the target community and ensuring sustainability in terms of creating and meeting demand for FP / RH services and female economic empowerment. Educere Consultants have been assigned the task of running behaviour change communication campaign, organizing stakeholders’ conferences and workshops and develop a comprehensive report about the behaviour change of community and the stakeholders after the conduction of workshops/conferences and running of behaviour change campaign.
Educere Consultants has done “Baseline survey and analysis” project titled as “Third Party Evaluation for UNESCO Project: Towards Gender Parity in Pakistan” (2010 – 11). The gender parity
This programme aims to support the Government by addressing gender equality across the three pillars of the national policy on development and empowerment of women; legal and political, economic and social empowerment. The programme addresses these three pillars through working on literacy, health, gender-based violence, and water issues.
Under this programme, UNESCO Islamabad implements the project titled “Towards Gender Parity in Pakistan”, in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Education, the Provincial Departments of Education, NGOs, CBOs, etc. UNESCO Islamabad executed the project with 8 implementing government and NGO partners.
1. Literacy skills, developmental skills, social skills of the learners of Adult Literacy Centres organized by the 8 implementing partners.
2. Teachers’ pedagogical skills towards their learners and for providing quality education
3. Quality of teaching and learning materials used at the literacy centers
4. Disseminate the results of the study with all 8 partners and other stakeholders
Under this program design of survey, Instruments for survey and evaluation, training of surveyors and data collectors were developed and conducted. Dozens of qualified and properly trained surveyors, supervisors and Research Assistants collected data in different locations spread over more than 80 locations in rural and urban areas in all of the four provinces of the country. Data analysis and report writing were done up to the satisfaction of our client “UNESCO”. A model for Community based Learning Centres was also developed and suggested to UNESCO.
Content Development for “Profile” and “Presentation” for National Endowment Scholarships for Talent (NEST), Ministry of Planning, Development & Reform – (Feb 2018)
Content Development and Event management of a National level Conference arranged by “National Institute of Cultural Studies” (NICS) at Islamabad. Educere Consultants engaged Intellectuals and professionals to write and present articles on Democracy, Unemployment, Media, Governance, Political Freedom, Poverty Alleviation and Tourism in Conference (2010).
Educere developed and implemented “Education for All” media campaighn for Ministry of Education EFA wing Government of pakistan in 2003 in Chakwal District.
Development of training modules and list of needed equipment Under the framework of JICA’s assistance for stabilization and development of the Pakistan-Afghanistan border areas. The project concept was approved by the Government of Japan in April 2012, and JICA agreed with the provincial government to conduct a detailed planning survey to confirm the scope of JICA’s cooperation and the government’s responsibility. The Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province requested JICA a technical cooperation to develop capacity of the Government’s Technical and Vocational Centers to provide quality technical and vocation education and training (TVET) services. Machinist and electrician courses were selected as the target training subject. Educere consultants has been awarded initial phase of the project and our technical education experts, consultants, surveyors worked in the filed in KPK province during September – December 2012 and our TEVT Specialists develop report to upgrade technical vocational Centres (TVCS), developed outline of technical training modules and prepared the needed equipment list.
Baseline Survey and Analysis on DHIS Project for Evidence- Based Decision Making and Management, System Science Consultants, Japan. July – December 2009 (for JICA). The project was done by ANZ consultancy mother organization of Educere Consultants. Mr. Azhar Abidi CEO of Educere Consultant did that project as Project Coordinator.
The National Rural Support Programme (NRSP), is implemented a project named “Supporting Inclusive Development through Community-Government Capacity Building and Partnership in four districts of AJK (including districts Bagh, Poonch, Sudhnoti and Kotli)”. This project is funded by the European Commission (EC) whereas NRSP is the implementing agency for this intervention. NRSP required an End of Project Evaluation exercise from a reputed and experienced Consultant/Consultancy-Firm/Organization; with practical experience in the same discipline before. Educere Consultants was awarded this project (Jan-June 2018) by NRSP-EC Team. Our End of Project evaluation experts and Qualitative and Quantitative Data experts worked on this project in 4 Districts of Azad Kashmir and completed End of Project Evaluation very successfully up to the satisfaction of NRSP and European Commission
Poverty Eradication Initiative (PEI), Sindh Peoples Health Program: Sindh Peoples Health Program aimed at creating a foundation for a highly responsive integrated system of health services delivery in pursuance of the Government of Sindh vision for a prosperous and healthy population. The 5 Billion Rupee program has been developed under the public-private-partnership model and is the flagship program of PEI and the PPP Node of the Sindh Department of Health.
Educere Consultants had been awarded Baseline Study to assess the pre-intervention situation in the program intervention districts – larkana, Dadu, Sukkur, Hyderabad, Thatta, Mirepure Khas, specifically the micro and macro operational environments, and the key stakeholders that can influence the implementation of the program at the district level.
